The website I am looking to build is like a market place for insureds (like sellers on ebay) and insurers (like buyers on ebay).
1) starts with registration
2) then uploading information on their risks by insureds = deal registration including uploading files
3) then discussing the risk (like a Q&A forum) with insurers through Forum plus Chat with Broker (intermediary) plus Appetite slider (to show how much each underwriter wants to take in the deal at what price)
4) then agreeing the "purchase", i.e. agreeing a policy by insured and insurers with draft uploads/Forums
5) then updating the deals in the deal table = same as maintaining a catalogue of goods on ebay or entries in a database.
That's basically it... Pretty simple and nothing what hasn't been done before. The look and feel should be modern and well-designed. I don't want a sloppy job and will send you some examples of other sites.
Please let me know your time line with specific steps and milestones. Please contact me only if you have built simiilar b2b sites and understand very well what is required.
A full functional specification and wireframes are available subject to signing an NDA.
