We have a ant script that builds 4 software products.
One of these products is an Eclipse RCP application with about 20 plugins.
One of those plugins uses the Eclipse PDE AJDT support to build.
Eclipse PDE uses the project .product file to define these plugin dependencies.
The latest support for AJDT builds uses a different compiler. So you have to apply that
compiler to all dependent plugins, regardless of whether they use AJDT and no *.aj files
Our headless build has a problem we cannot work out.
See this thread for details: [url removed, login to view]
See our attached [url removed, login to view] ant script and [url removed, login to view]
Note there are 2 methods, the deprecated method, where you use a special Eclipse 3.5 build environment to build, this is broken too.
The second current method uses a new compiler defined in the build.properties.
The [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] attached are configured to use the new method.
We have a complete ready to install Eclipse Kepler setup with all required plugins for download and will give you a git login to get the full projects used in the build.
Note the Eclipse Kepler install we have for download is Linux x86_64.
I'd suggest that if you do not understand why we have this Eclipse Kepler install for download then do not apply for the job.
