I need a J2ME application for Blackberries that stores text files structured in a series of sections (section 1 ... , section 2 ... , section 3 ... ) on the handheld. Upon launch, the application should offer users to update the files stored on the handheld by connecting to a server. Users should have the ability to browse through a list of the files stored on the handheld. When a user clicks on a file, the section headings of that file should be displayed, and when a user clicks on a section heading, the relevant text should be displayed.
For someone with J2ME experience, this should not be too difficult to do, so I expect offers to come in closer to the $300 side of the range, than to the $1,500 side.
I have a number of follow-on projects building on this basic application in case the project goes well.
