Write an iPhone application

IPad app to record field operators' activities. A time recording app with a simple interface that effectively asks; “What are you doing now?” The user “Clocks On” to the app using their unique User ID. By “Clocking On” an email is created in the user's default email client and sent to the Admin email address stored in settings. The subject line of the email is “User ID has logged on at Date/Time.” The Clock on creates the day's first database entry. The User then answers the question “What are you doing now?” by clicking on a button that corresponds to an activity. When a user clicks on an activity button, the answer is entered into the database of the app. It records the User ID, the date, the time, the elapsed time since the last entry (recorded in previous entry), the geocoded location of the device and the source of the entry. The list of activities available to a user to choose from is specified in the App's Settings. An option of “Other” is also available to the user where a typed answer can be recorded. The typed answer defaults to the most recent typed answer. It can be over-written. As Users change activities through the day they will bring the app into focus and click on an activity button to generate an answer to the “What are you doing now?” question. A complete automatic entry is generated every 5 (?) minutes based on the current activity specified by the last active entry. A re-ask feature is based on the expiration of a time-period. The app pops up to re-ask the “What are you doing now?” question. The time interval to re-ask can be specified in settings. If the re-asked question has no response. The current activity changes to the current activity plus a re-ask unanswered signifier. The automatic entries continue to be recorded. If the re-asked question is answered with a different response. The App asks for a start time of that activity. The database is adjusted accordingly. When the re-ask question is answered with a confirmation of the same activity, the app asks if the activity has been unbroken. If the answer is “Yes” the popped-up app, pops down. If the answer is “No” a timeline is shown of the activity that was recorded since the last active entry and there is an opportunity to break those entries into segments of different activities. Those changed entries are recorded as manual entries. The user can “Clock Off.” The Clock Off action creates a last “ClockOff” entry. A Colour-coded Timeline of the day is created and displayed. A pop up asks if any changes are required. The timeline can be modified and the changes made are marked as Manual entries. User confirms the timeline and a report of all the day’s activities is created as a csv file. That csv file is attached to an email sent to the admin email address. The email has the subject line “Date/Time User ID has Clocked Off” The database retains data for a period of ?? days.
