Quick Money used Flutter with real-time data and mobile app features. Your chat app needs the same kind of practical mobile/backend work. I would use Flutter here rather than maintain two separate codebases. That keeps messaging, groups and file sharing in one mobile codebase. Social login and real-time messages can sit behind one backend API. For Claude, I can add the API where moderation or replies need it. I would also keep reported-content handling simple for the first release. One thing I would check early is the file upload and message flow. That will decide how the backend should handle larger files and clips. I can handle the Android and iOS builds directly from the same project. I have also worked with OpenAI and Gemini API integrations in applications. I have not used Claude specifically, so I would not pretend otherwise. The backend and app structure should be fixed after checking your design
