Paid on delivery
I need help taking our merchandise planning to the next level by zeroing-in on inventory management. The scope centres on three pillars: creating a robust Open-to-Buy (OTB) framework, tightening our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, and establishing clear minimum store quantity (MSQ) rules that trigger timely replenishment. You’ll start by reviewing our historical sales files, current stock position and vendor lead-time data, then translate those insights into practical tools we can run in-house—Excel or Google Sheets models are fine, but the logic must be easy to port into our ERP later. Deliverables • Dynamic OTB calculator that rolls forward each period and highlights buying capacity versus plan. • End-to-end S&OP template linking demand, supply, and capacity with clear exception alerts. • MSQ matrix per store cluster showing minimums, reorder points, and recommended order quantities. Acceptance criteria The models have to refresh off a single data dump, reconcile to our opening inventory within 0.5 %, and generate purchase recommendations we can action straight away. If you’ve built similar retail inventory solutions and can walk me through the maths as well as the mechanics, let’s talk.
