Marketing Strategist

As a Marketing Strategist, your role will be to act as a consultant on a variety of marketing projects, beginning with the initial strategy then ensuring project success and growth throughout the engagement. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead and support efforts on marketing pitches, along with providing thought leadership on behalf of the agency. Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years of experience account planning at an agency or in an agency setting, brand consultancy agency, consulting firm, or large strategic planning group A background in managing digital projects (Paid Media, Paid Search, SEO, Email, Social, Content, etc.) Expertise in multiple digital marketing channels (ie. SEO, SEM, Paid, Social, Email, Content) and offline marketing channels allowing for the confidence to make results focused recommendations Clear articulated strategic vision and ability to remain within budget and scope A proven track record of success in marketing execution and growing brands Ability to identify opportunities within new marketing channels Ability to maintain strong client relationships through comprehensive understanding of business needs Strong written and interpersonal communication skills for managing client challenges, internal meetings, and leading presentations Responsibilities: Lead marketing teams through the entire strategy process Grow client engagement to align with their business goals Provide suggestions and guidance to clients on their marketing initiatives Provide oversight and insight on digital plans Oversee a number of assigned marketing projects, working with the supporting team and department heads Analyze and track campaign progress Strategize improvements based on observed campaign progress Attend client calls and meetings when required Provide thought-leadership Support business development and agency growth
