VA for a Busy and Challenging Project

Virtual Assistant:

1 - A long term relationship with an enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn and can positively deal with the changing nature of the internet marketing environment

2 - The candidate must have a can-do attitude and be sensitive to deadlines

3 - Some tasks may be basic and repetitive but still require 100% attention to detail. The successful candidate must be attentive at all times to the tasks and deadlines assigned. Tasks which are rejected for submission due to inattention to detail will result in immediate disengagement with the candidate.

4 - Candidate must be willing to research, network and provide feedback and recommendations, including sourcing and gathering estimates for work from professional service providers (i.e. coders, graphic designers, video editors etc)

5 - A Non Disclosure Agreement must be signed before engagement

6 – The successful candidate will not be employed by GIE Ltd. but will provide services on an agreed hourly rate basis only. However, an opportunity for a long term relationship exists for the right candidate. Initially, the candidate must be able to commit to at least 10 hours per week.

7 – Candidate must be available during the hours 09:00 to 17:00 IST (UTC + 1 hour) for skype communication (agreed in advance)

Job Specifications

1 – Language Level

- High level of written English

- Good English conversational level (communication with supervisor is required via skype)

- Written/ oral fluency in other languages such as Italian, French, German and Spanish would be advantageous but not required.

2 - Customer interaction

- Verbal – at this stage there will be no verbal communication with customers but this may be required in time.

- Written – candidate is required to respond to customers using scripted communication (comments/email/feedback) therefore must exercise a high ability to determine the correct response and/or action required in response to customer communication

3 - Tasks (not limited to)

3.1 Carry out marketing tasks to schedule (training, access to online tools will be provided)

3.2 Create content and upload for review (multiple online tools & software required - training and tools provided)

3.3 Write Press releases of unique content and upload them for review (Training and tools provided)

3.4 Post content to Facebook , Pinterest and Twitter as per pre-determined marketing schedule (Training and tools provided)

3.5 Create simple video content and sync with voice over production (Training and tools provided)

3.6 Other ad hoc tasks as required

4 - Technical expertise

4.1 Able to understand and work with current technologies and basic programming

4.2 Content Management pages (word press etc)

4.3 Tools for graphic design, video and pictures manipulation (candidate must own these tools

or source them)

5 - Other expertise or experiences

5.1 Understanding of Internet Marketing

5.2 Understanding of Social marketing

5.3 Understanding of paid traffic like PPC, Facebook advertising, media buying etc.

5.4 Understanding of SEO and backlinking

5.4 Willingness to learn and improve skill sets :)
