I'm launching a new cryptocurrency and want to give away 10% of the total coins, slowly, over time to increase adoption. I had in mind copying a faucet like [login to view URL] where they have to verify their email (i could add sms perhaps in the future, too) to register an account. Then I could airdrop directly to their accounts, or they can claim from the faucet.
I need help with ideas to distribute the coins in a way that is most attractive to the retail users. Most people work and don't want to fill out a captcha every 5 minutes and captchas are also subject to abuse.
They could claim, daily, twice a day, one a month, every 10 mins as you see there are many variants. First i need consulting with the initial design of the give away then perhaps we can go through exact numbers. 1$ every day?, $5 every week?, 10$ every month? There is the law of diminishing returns I only need to give enough to raise awareness, if i give away to much I wont be able to airdrop in further years and they will dump and cause the price of my coin to go down.
