Daily lighting take-offs are exactly the kind of routine I have built my mornings around: open the .dwg, cross-check against the PDF, and count every luminaire layer by layer instead of trusting the legend alone — that is how downlights buried in ceiling details stop slipping through. Since your plans arrive each morning in both PDF and .dwg, I would do the tally natively in AutoCAD and use the PDF strictly for the verification markups, returning the three files you listed — the BOQ spreadsheet with item codes, descriptions, quantities and unit prices, the client-ready quotation generated from it, and the marked-up drawing showing every counted fixture — before your end of day. One question: when a plan symbol matches nothing in your catalogue, do you prefer a flagged "unmatched" line in the BOQ, or a nearest-equivalent suggestion priced provisionally for your approval? I can take tomorrow morning's batch as a paid trial: first BOQ and quotation delivered the same day, then daily from there.
