I need expert advice on the best visa or work permit route for a UK company director/contractor. I will be providing long-term warehouse and logistics services in Belgium and want to invoice our Belgian company, not be employed. Key requirements: - Over 90 days stay in Belgium - Need to maintain contractor status, not employee Ideal Skills and Experience: - Knowledge of Belgian immigration law - Experience with UK to Belgium work permits - Ability to provide clear, actionable steps I am the Managing Director of a Belgian company. We want to engage a UK national who owns (or is a director of) a UK limited company. Rather than employing him in Belgium, we want his UK company to provide warehouse management, logistics, inventory control, process implementation, procurement coordination, and operational consulting services to my company under a commercial services agreement. His UK company would invoice us monthly. The consultant may need to spend significant time in Belgium, potentially residing here permanently, although regular travel between the UK and Belgium is also an option if required. We want to structure this in a way that is fully compliant with Belgian immigration, employment, tax, and social security laws while avoiding a Belgian employment relationship if legally possible. I would like advice on: 1. What is the most appropriate immigration/work authorization route (Single Permit, Professional Card, cross-border service provision, posted worker, ICT, or another option)? 2. Can he legally remain employed by or operate through his UK company while working primarily in Belgium? 3. What are the Belgian tax and social security implications for both his UK company and my Belgian one? 4. How can we minimise the risk of the arrangement being considered disguised employment (false self-employment)? 5. If this structure is not possible, what is the most practical alternative that still allows him to work long-term in Belgium? Ideally, I am looking for someone with experience advising UK companies and UK nationals on post-Brexit business immigration into Belgium. If appropriate, I would also like assistance with implementing the recommended structure and preparing the required applications and documentation.

Hello, I am an immigration attorney with extensive experience in U.S. immigration law. I specialize in legal drafting, immigration-process research, and resolving complex immigration matters. Because U.S. immigration practice is governed by federal immigration law—not USPTO registration rules—I am permitted to prepare and file family-based immigration petitions for U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents. My services include assistance with Forms I-130, I-485, I-129F, and I-864, as well as drafting cover letters, affidavits, and detailed legal explanations in support of immigration applications. I assist clients in proceedings before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and at U.S. consulates, in accordance with 8 C.F.R. § 292.1. You may rely on me for accurate guidance, careful document preparation, and professional handling of your immigration matter. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your case in detail.
