An expired domain about obesity research, is to be recovered from wayback machine. Wayback has 459 html pages and 91 aspx pages archived. Therefore this is a major project needing someone willing to work full-time on it.
Please don't bid if you are part-time or doing multiple projects simultaneously. I think it will be 2 to 3 weeks of full-time work. It is English language.
When you bid, please confirm your full-time exclusive availability in the message.
I want pages recovered by-hand manually, so you will visit 459+91 URLs on wayback, and decide on a page-by-page basis whether the information is valuable to recover or not.
For each page to recover, do Copy a paragraph from it, and Paste it into Google search, to determine if it is unique content or not. I only want unique content recovered.
Each recovered page will go into a Wordpress post. I would suggest using "View Source" on the wayback-machine page, and Copy the HTML code for the valuable content, and then Paste that into a wordpress post, by hand, which will preserve the formatting of lists and headings.
For each post you create, edit the slug to be a nonsense short non-keyword. (Wordpress slugs which are automatically created out of the post title, are too long, and I don't like keywords in the slugs).
For each post you create, you will create a Title based on the content, and a "SEO Title", which is a feature of the Yoast SEO plugin, and you will create a "Meta description". So this takes thought and time, to realize what the page content is about, and write a short description of it. Ie, this is honest thinking work, not a machine-based recovery.
For each post you create, manually add an H1 heading at the top, that uses a longer sentence to describe the keywords and topic most suited to the page.
For each post you create, you will determine the one most dominant topic keyword, perhaps "Obesity" as an example, and you will create an outgoing link to an authority website on that keyword. I want all posts to have at least one outgoing link to authority sites.
The website was for a specific academic center in a specific city. I am not intending to pretend to be that specific center, so each post will have an automatically inserted header or footer (which I will create separately), stating that the content is recovered to be helpful, but not pretending to be the former original center.
Some pages may have emails with mailto: URLs, which should not be put into the new posts. This is congruent with not pretending to be the academic obesity center.
Some pages may have useful images. Copy the image, insert it into Wordpress, and place it onto the Post. But only recover images if they test as unique when you drag a copy of the image onto "Google Images" search feature. I don't want duplicate content images.
There is a plugin for 301 redirects. For each post you create, you will create a 301 redirect entry, from the old URL to the new wordpress URL.
As you can see, you should probably work with a checklist for tasks for each post. Copy/Paste for duplicate content test. Add titles and descriptions, add H1 heading at the top, edit slug, add outgoing authority links, set 301 redirect, etc.
