Improve RSS preview from wordpress site

I need a quick fix to this wordpress/rss and iphone/android problem. I need to show a category of posts within my app – at the moment I am doing this via rss and it works but not how I would like: see image1 At the moment the images show in the rss preview as I have activated a plugin called ‘featured images in rss’ on my wordpress site. However this shows the <img width=”150”> html stuff in the rss post preview. I DON’T want this I want it to just show the text within the post. Also when you click through to see more info on any of the posts it just shows simple text and images and links: see image 2 I would like it to have a green background and some font styling etc. Quote 'Rss App Problem' so you know I have read the whole description.
