The site’s first job is to act as our public journal: regular blog posts, media mentions, awards, and research updates should all live in a section that is simple for my team to update without touching code. At the same time, the platform must make life easier for patients. A built-in appointment scheduler that connects with Google or Outlook calendars, sends automated reminders, and offers slot management from the admin panel is essential. For patients who cannot visit in person, I want a secure online-consultation module—video or chat—integrated with our EMR or, at minimum, able to export notes in PDF.
