Revamp Web Application UI/UX Design

Project Brief: UI/UX Designer for Existing Web Application Project Overview We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer to enhance the design and user experience of our existing web application. The application currently functions well but requires a design refresh and improved usability for both desktop and mobile views. The designer should create a modern, user-centered design that aligns with our brand and improves user engagement. Project Goals • Redesign the UI to be visually appealing, on-brand, and user-friendly. • Improve the overall user experience by optimizing workflows and reducing friction points. • Ensure the design is responsive and optimized for both desktop and mobile. • Maintain or enhance existing functionalities without disrupting current user flows. Scope of Work 1. Initial Analysis & Discovery • Review the existing application design and understand its functionality, target audience, and business objectives. • Conduct user experience research if needed (user feedback analysis, current pain points, etc.). 2. Wireframing & Prototyping using FIGMA • Develop wireframes for key screens (up to [X] screens). • Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate the flow of key user journeys. 3. UI Design • Create a cohesive visual design that aligns with our brand identity. • Design elements should include layout, typography, color schemes, icons, buttons, etc. • Provide a style guide and design assets for developers. 4. Responsive Design • Ensure that designs are responsive and provide an optimal experience across various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile). 5. Handoff & Collaboration with Developers • Work closely with our development team to ensure a smooth handoff of design assets. • Provide guidance and support during the implementation phase to ensure design consistency. Deliverables • Wireframes: Low-fidelity wireframes for feedback and iteration. • Prototypes: High-fidelity prototypes for user flows. • UI Design Files: Final design files (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD). • Style Guide: Documentation including typography, colors, iconography, and UI elements. • Feedback Support: Availability for feedback sessions and design adjustments if necessary. Timeline We expect the initial designs to be completed within 1 week with the potential for iterative revisions based on feedback. Please provide an estimated timeline for each deliverable. Skills & Experience Required • Proven experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing web application designs. • Strong knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles. • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.). • Ability to communicate design concepts and collaborate with development teams.
