I work in the wellbeing sector and I am introducing a range of teas to my business to be sold online.
I am looking for someone to create a design for my range of boutiques teas – ‘Tea for Le Fixe’.
I am thinking of a design that can cover a package (e.g. stand-up pouch) with a label incorporated into the centre. ‘Tea for Le Fixe’ and the name of the blend of tea should be included.
The design will incorporate my existing logo (see attached) and the label will need to suit a variety of colours – a different color for each tea. I am happy for the color to be different from my existing logo, but the ball icon must be included.
There should also be a space to add an organic certification – this is not available yet but will need to be added.
The names of the blends have not been finalized as yet, but I want to be able to insert or change names, or add a new package color and name to the range.
Some possible names of the teas include:
The names of the teas could be the changeable color element and ideally I can alter these myself as I expand the range. Having a color shading in the packaging is also an option – at this stage I am open to ideas.
The artwork will need to be provided in the form that digital packaging printers require:
• Adobe Illustrator: Save files as *.AI files – Text in Illustrator files should be converted to outlines before exporting. All fonts are required as outlines. Please create your work in Adobe Illustrator CS5 or later.
• Most designers are aware that packaging colours vary substantially from paper to printed proof. Different materials used in the bag construction – kraft paper for instance – resulting in different printing techniques and variation in natural materials used.
• When using custom packaging bags we recommend a color match formula/PMS and/or exact color sample to ensure that the final result matches, allowing for all possible material variables including thickness of the bag itself.
