Mobile App Icon for Movie Ticket Application

To put it quite simply, I'm a software engineer who's not so great at design and I'm looking for a motivated graphic designer who can work with the base idea and icon that we've already got and basically morph it into something awesome, and modern-looking for our new mobile application.
This should be a fairly simple project since we already have a base icon to work with and a color scheme, but if you've got better ideas then please don't hesitate to share because I'm very open to them. I'm interested in hearing what feedback you, as an experienced artist, can provide in order to assist us with developing a better product.
I can give you some more insight into what our application actually is and what we've got done already, etc. over private message. Hopefully you can take what little artistic details I can provide (trust me, I'm really bad at anything artistic) and create something distinct and cool.
