The report will serve as an official national document and therefore requires a high standard of professionalism, consistency, readability, and visual presentation. The report content has already been developed. The assignment focuses on transforming the technical draft into a professionally designed publication quality report. The final report is approximately 75 pages excluding annexures and includes: • Cover pages • Forewords • Acknowledgements • Acronyms and abbreviations • Executive Summary • Technical narrative sections • Findings and recommendations • Tables and charts • Annexures • Campaign and field photographs (given seperately to integrate into the document) The report design style should follow a clean and conservative publication approach with strong visual hierarchy, structured formatting, and professional presentation suitable for national and international dissemination. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will be responsible for the following: 1. Full Report Design and Layout • Professionally design and format the entire report in publication quality format • Apply consistent typography, spacing, alignment, headers, footers, numbering, and section formatting • Improve readability and visual flow across all sections • Ensure the report is print ready and digitally shareable 2. Cover Page Design (Even though it is already designed with real picture from the field) Develop: • Front cover page • Back cover page • Inside title page The cover should incorporate: • Ministry of Health branding • UNICEF and WHO logos • Campaign imagery and field photographs • Professional government publication style 3. Executive Summary Redesign Transform the Executive Summary into a visually structured and professionally designed section using: • Highlight boxes • Key findings panels • Professional tables • Visual hierarchy • Infographic style summaries • Shaded thematic sections • Readability enhancements 4. Professional Formatting of Technical Sections Design and format: • Findings sections • Recommendations and action plans • Thematic sections • Cross cutting analysis • Tables and figures • Annexures 5. Development of Visual Elements and Infographics Create professional: • Timelines • Process flow diagrams • Governance and coordination structures • Readiness assessment visuals • Summary infographics • Recommendation summary layouts • Campaign implementation flow diagrams 6. Integration of Campaign and Field Pictures The report will include multiple campaign and field implementation photographs from: • Vaccination sites • Community mobilization activities • Outreach sessions • Leadership visits • Training activities • Hard to reach service delivery areas • Other pictures from field The designer will be required to: • Professionally place and format images throughout the report • Ensure image quality optimization and consistency • Add captions where required • Maintain a balanced and professional visual layout • Ensure photos complement the technical narrative without overcrowding pages 7. Tables and Charts Formatting • Redesign technical tables into publication quality layouts • Improve consistency and readability • Apply professional color schemes aligned with WHO/UNICEF style • Standardize chart and figure formatting throughout the document 8. Section Divider Pages Design professional divider pages for major sections to improve readability and navigation across the report. Deliverables The final deliverables shall include: 1. Professionally designed editable Microsoft Word version of the complete report 2. Print ready high resolution PDF version 3. Designed front and back cover pages 4. Redesigned Executive Summary section 5. Professionally formatted tables, charts, figures, and annexures 6. Integrated infographics and visual layouts 7. Professionally formatted field photographs with captions where necessary 8. Consistent page numbering, headers, footers, typography, and styles throughout the document 9. All editable source files and design assets used in the report Preferred Qualifications Applicants should demonstrate: • Proven experience designing government, NGO, donor, or public health reports • Strong experience with publication quality Microsoft Word formatting • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Canva Pro, Affinity Publisher, or similar tools • Ability to create professional infographic layouts and visual summaries • Strong attention to detail and formatting consistency Important Requirement The selected professional should be capable of independently completing the assignment with minimal supervision and without continuous micro management.
