Build a Wordpress-based Website for Food Recipes

We are looking for a developer to build a responsive Wordpress-based website for us. We have the domain reserved and will wait on hosting to fit the preference of the freelancer. I already have a general design in mind and will provide that at a later time. It would be ideal if the freelancer can input their design and project ideas as well, however I will be available to provide the designs for most of the webpages. The website is about everything related to vegan food and education. We will have recipes (drinks, salads, hot dishes, desserts, etc.), news articles and blog posts, videos and pictures from the internet, and a 3rd party store for kitchen supplies (mainly Amazon). We would like the users to be engaged and register with our website, either through email/username or connecting through social media. At the top of the page, we would like to have a full-width slider somewhat similar to this: [login to view URL] When hovering over the menu items, we want the submenu to look like one of these: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] We would also like to have an advanced search option similar to this: [login to view URL] The main aspect of this website is the recipes. We will be posting some recipes of our own and embedding YouTube videos as well, but would also like a feature for users to submit/suggest their own recipes… along with an option for other users to post their own pictures of the recipe after they’ve tried it. They can also save the recipe to their “Recipes List” and compile several recipes for viewing later. When a recipe is posted, we want the page to show a picture of the ingredients next to each ingredient. It would be ideal if the system can do this automatically. For example: Fruit Smoothie [picture of strawberries] 1 cup of strawberries [picture of bananas] 2 bananas [picture of oranges] 2 cups of orange juice [picture of coconut milk] 1 cup of coconut milk When they click on the picture, it will take them to a page showing all of the recipes in our system with that ingredient in it. With that in mind, we also want to have a page that lists all (or most) of the ingredients in our system and then takes them to all recipes with that ingredient. Here’s a good example: [login to view URL] We want to include an advanced search option that allows the users to search for recipes with multiple ingredient choices (for example: a recipe that includes rice, olive oil, bell pepper, and onions). A feature that would be ideal as well is a “suggested recipes” option where the user types in what ingredients they have and the system searches for possible recipes. These are the main ideas for this project. Everything else will be minor changes in design and functionality. If all of these features seem doable, we would love to work with you.
