Your web development project will be marked based on the difference between the initial status of the
Assessment Template and the published website.
1. You are required to use and customise ONLY Assessment Template available from the Summative
Assessment section of the VLE.
2. Your website should contain at least four content pages (including a home page) but no more than
six content pages.
3. You are required to add with comments at least six styles to the external CSS file of the Assessment
Template ([url removed, login to view]).
The content pages should include:
at least one form,
at least one page utilising tables effectively,
sufficient and appropriate textual content that provides information and value, reflecting the
nature of your business and its products/services (consider a minimum of 200 words per page),
at least one web-based tool like as Facebook, Linked-in, Twitter or any other tool (created for
the business) to enhance customer engagement, customer journey, user experience, support
the brand development and products/services,
the following disclaimer footnote:
“This is an academic project website and does not offer the products/services advertised in their current form”.
The web development project must NOT contain:
any other template(s) than the provided one
image based page(s) where the page(s) contains little or no text,
any layout tags (e.g. <center>), font/color tags, inline or embedded CSS styles (except 'class' and 'id'
