This is an opportunity for possible ongoing work as one of our T-Shirt Designers.
Some designs will be simple, and some can be more complex.
We are looking for artists who are able to create or draw (and then convert drawings in illustrator) T-Shirt designs of a Tribal / Tattoo / Celtic / Gothic / Mystic nature. So, if you want an idea, go to Google Images and search for "Tribal Tattoo" or something like that.
If you want an idea of related designs, take a look at Affliction or Ed Hardy. Look at the actual designs (front, back, sides and across shirts including shoulder blades), and then also look at the material/drawings/graphics on the shirts. Both of these are key elements and you must prove you understand these things and are capable of working in a similar manner in regards to these things.
The material on the shirts will obviously different, but some themes may be similar. The big thing is to notice on some the extended lines and the integration of different images using layers. Also, there are simply two to three separate images at different places on the shirts. This can be that easy - just drawing an image or two and placing them in different areas (or we can place them). Other times, there is simply one giant image sort of sprawled our over the front and back of the shirt.
It would be excellent to see in your bid examples of full (across shoulders or front back and side inclusive) T-Shirt designs you have done as well as sample illustrations of Dragons, Crests, Tribal Tattoos, Tattoos, Shields, Lions as they would appear in a stone statue, and things of that nature.
We will be able to give general theme and color guidance/requirements when it comes to the designs.
Also, you need to be willing to sign a contract releasing the rights to the finished [url removed, login to view] to be done in Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop. There may be other special formatting requirements or software requirements (such as only up to version CS2) depending on printing specs. Please discuss any concerns / limitations you have when bidding in regards to this issue.
Bid with your timeframe on a design, examples, references in regards to your reliability, your schedule now and in the future (including vacations that will come up, etc.) prices per design, and anything else you can think of that will prove that you read and understand what was written here completely. (A bid with no specific information is very hard to accept!)
Thank you and good luck!
