The Project:
I require a small-budget logo for my small wedding MC business called “The Storytelling Tree: Wedding MC”
My business:
My business provides a wedding MC for wedding receptions. Designed as a premium level service for the discerning wedding couple planning receptions of 70 persons or more, my tag line is “let me tell your love story.” My objective is to create receptions that are flawless, elegant, incredibly well designed and confident, completely stress-free for the bride and groom, and make the couple feel like a celebrity for the duration of their reception. I also assist with coaching any speakers to deliver winning heartfelt, humorous speeches. ON the evening, apart from MCing I am reponsible for ensuring that a strict timetable is adhered to (key entracnes, meal service, speeches, dancing etc). The overall effect is that of a carefully planned theatre production in which my clients are the beautiful and flawless stars. I am a storyteller that tells the story of our couple falling in love, and we as the audience casting them off on their journey together.
The logo:
I have already completed a small mock-up in the PDF attached. Please take as much creative liberty as you like, with the following guidelines:
1. The logo should be simple, elegant and classy. Like a tree, I think of the wedding as a creating solid root and foundations for their life together. You may like to interpret this theme for the logo.
2. The logo should incorporate a whimsical tree element.
3. The logo should be designed with a typeface that I can download for a small fee. I would prefer it was not a common font.
4. Colours: I would prefer some beautiful wedding pastels. Some combinations I like include these: [url removed, login to view] and these [url removed, login to view] I would like these colours to be readily available in MS Word rather than niche so I can theme my headings.
5. If you chose to give the logo a backing colour, I will also require one with a white background as well.
The logo will be required for application on a website, business cards, letterheads. I will also need one for a large convention poster – may I ask you to ensure the format and resolution is appropriate.
