We are organising a festival in the seaside suburb of Glenelg, South Australia. It is predominantly a blues and roots festival with access to bars and food trucks. We have several artists confirmed and are currently in the process of confirming bigger names. We want to establish a relaxed vibe, almost like a big open backyard house party on the lawn. The festival is set in a large open grass reserve surrounded by a large marina and beach.
Our target audience are male and female 25 years and over, although it is an all age event it is quite open, younger and middle age alike who want to spend a day in the sun drinking and enjoying good music.
WHAT WE WANT FROM THE DESIGN
We are organising a day long festival hosting blues and roots artists from around Australia and want the poster design to represent a relaxing vibe + music.
Our demographic is 25 years and over to showcase live music, an array of well established Adelaide food stalls and beer and wine.
We are trying to create an almost luxury feel even though tickets will be set at $50-60. Imagine a very large backyard house party on the lawn. There is an estimated attendance of 2500-3000 people.
Beachy and summer colours would be ideal but remember the title has no brand salience as this is the first of what we hope to be a yearly occurrence... therefore please be as creative as you wish to be. I have uploaded some other festival posters which we feel represent a similiar style of what we are looking for.
Please include a creative image of the sun. I have also included images of the confirmed location and a proposed layout if it helps.
Please include the following information.
