We are looking to have 10 icons designed for a web application. Each icon should be sized at 16x16 and 32x32, for 20 image files total.
The icons are for an online medical application, and should represent the following themes:
- A generic Person of indeterminate gender (an outline)
- A Man
- A Woman
- A Child
- A generic Application or Widget
- An Employer
- A Data Source
- A Health Provider (like a clinic)
- A Doctor or other Medical Professional
- The System (an icon representing the actual medical application itself. This can be the application logo.)
The icons representing people (man, woman, doctor, etc.) should be of indeterminate race. For example, they should have grey or blue or green skin.
Existing brand guidelines and sample screens of the application are to be provided to the chosen vendor. The vendor will be responsible for using these guidelines to ensure that their icons fit well into the visual environment.
Draft sketches of the icons should be provided and approved before generating final art.
We would like the icons to be cleaned up at the pixel level, and not simply be a twice resized vector file. Please see the attached file for an example of an accurate and cleaned at-size icon versus a resized vector icon.
Note: Icons should be originally created and matched to our branding guidelines, and not ripped directly from any free icon sets (fam fam, fatcow, led, etc.). Taking inspiration from existing icon/metaphor best practices is perfectly fine.
Please include a link to your portfolio. Please demonstrate high-quality, custom icon designs in your portfolio. Please have excellent English skills, preferably fluent.
