We are coming to the end of a complete website redesign, and are looking for someone to design images, both now and over the coming months/years. My skills are very much in databases and layout, and I have no idea how to create images, nor any wish to learn.
I've attached the following files:
[url removed, login to view] - a diagram of roughly what the front page will look like
[url removed, login to view] - our new logo
Here are the main colours used by the website:
$alpha: #f28400; /* orange */
$bravo: #632a27; /* brown */
$charlie: #9de0d5; /* green */
Initially what I'd like is some images to represent the activities listed below. The images should ideally be compatible with the colors of the website, but don't have to follow the style of the picture on the website home page (which I don't particularly like, and which might change).
1 - Classroom training. An image getting over the idea of a computer training course in a classroom.
2 - Training videos. An image getting across the idea of a YouTube or other video explaining how to accomplish some IT task.
3 - Blogs. An image getting over the idea of a blog on a computer-related subject.
4 - Courseware manuals. An image getting over the idea of a computer training manual to accompany a course.
5 - Exercises. An image getting over the idea of exercises to do for a computer course.
6 - Venues. An image getting over the idea of computer training venues.
7 - Tutorials. An image getting over the idea of a full tutorial on an IT subject, to follow online.
8 - Skills assessment tests. An image to get over the idea of doing a test to see how much someone knows about a subject.
I'd be interested in a solution which allowed me to put different images for different subjects, but suspect this isn't practical or possible (for example, the Excel training video icon would be customised to show a picture of a typical spreadsheet).
The icons should be provided in a standard size (something like 100x100 pixels, although you can choose the exact size to some extent), and eventually I'll need a double resolution retina display version.
If we're happy with the results of this, the next project would be to design a range of larger graphics for our website, but it's not certain at this stage what these would be or whether we'd proceed with the project.
Finally, this is my first time using [url removed, login to view], although I have used RentACoder in the past. I'm looking to find someone who I can keep returning to with more requests in the future.
Look forward to hearing from you!
