I am a biomedical engineer with over 20 years experience with medtech startups. Much of my efforts focus on SBIR/STTR applications for NIH, DOD, and NSF as these are the key agencies that have major funding for medical applications. I have not only helped my clients receive SBIR/STTR funding, but I have also won my own funding, so I understand the process of both submitting a grant and managing the grant once awarded. I've also been a grant reviewer, so I have insight as to what reviewers tend to look for in a competitive grant.
As a biomedical engineer, I've worked on a variety of medical solutions for cardiology, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology and orthopedic applications as well as diagnostic and drug discovery tools. Much of my efforts have involved technology-based solutions for these diseases. I also have experience with preclinical studies, the FDA and contract manufacturers to help scale up the manufacturing. So, I can provide much more value than strictly grant writing.
I have been writing SBIR grants for the healthcare space for over 15 years, having won grants for my own work and for my clients. For reference, my clients have been awarded over $4 million in NIH SBIR funds over the past year alone.
My bid covers reviewing your grant application. If more significant effort is required, such as writing or researching, then I will need to adjust my bid accordingly.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
