Lookups and pivots won't behave identically in Excel and Google Sheets, so keeping both files matched means some of the dashboard logic gets written twice, and that affects the effort. I've done data exchange between a website and 1C accounting, plus external processing for its bookkeeping module, so moving raw figures across systems without them drifting is familiar.
