I’m building a new project in Godot and need a 3D artist who can create a small library of game-ready assets—mainly player characters, NPCs, houses, props and a few environmental pieces. The visual direction is simply “3D”; I’m not locked into something overtly cartoonish or hyper-realistic, but the meshes must sit comfortably in the middle ground on both style and poly count. All models should be mid poly. I don’t need ultra-low mobile meshes or film-level sculpts; instead, think tidy topology that holds up to close-range gameplay while still performing smoothly in Godot. Clean UVs, sensible naming and non-destructive files are essential so I can tweak materials or LODs later. Godot prefers .glb or .dae, so please export in one of those formats (with textures packed or clearly referenced). PBR textures at 2K are ideal; I can down-res if needed. Deliverables • Player character with an A-pose rig and basic facial blend-shapes • Two NPC variants sharing the same rig • One modular house kit (walls, roof pieces, doors, windows, interior props) • Ten small world props (barrels, crates, signs, foliage) • All source files, textures and a quick import test scene for Godot I’ll review wireframes first, then greybox meshes, then final textured versions. If this scope fits your skill set, let’s talk timing and the number of iterations you’d like to include.

Hi there. I’ve recently completed a similar project involving creating mid-poly 3D game assets optimized for Godot, and I can deliver your project efficiently to the same standard. I understand you need a balanced style for player characters, NPCs, a modular house kit, and props with clean UVs, tidy topology, and exports in .glb or .dae formats. My experience includes producing PBR textures at 2K resolution alongside rigging with facial blend-shapes, matching your requirements closely. Your review process with wireframes, greybox meshes, and final textures is clear and well-structured. How many iterations would you prefer for each asset stage to ensure the best fit? Regards, Riyaaz

I recently completed a project creating a mid-poly asset library for a 3D game that improved close-range visual fidelity while maintaining smooth performance. I am new to Freelancer, but I bring real experience working on large-scale projects with companies like Meta and TSMC. I understand you need clean, game-ready models exported in .glb or .dae formats with tidy topology, solid UV layouts, and PBR textures. I appreciate the importance of non-destructive files and sensible naming conventions for efficient tweaking and iteration. I focus on building assets with simplicity and structure, ensuring reliability and long-term usability without unnecessary complexity from the start. I am ready to begin work and deliver exactly what your Godot project requires. If this aligns with your project, feel free to reach out. Regards Patrick.

Hey, I’ve read your request and understand the kind of workflow and asset quality you’re looking for. I’m also a game developer working with Unity 3D, so I’m familiar with creating optimized, game-ready assets that integrate cleanly into an engine pipeline. The mid-poly style, modular setup, shared rigs, clean topology/UVs, and Godot-ready exports all make sense to me, and I’d be comfortable handling the full scope including source files, textures, and organized delivery. The staged review process you mentioned also works well for me, and I’d be happy to discuss timelines and iteration rounds further.
