Topographic Map Creation With Contours

I’m looking to build a detailed topographic map that clearly presents elevation contours. I don’t yet have final coordinates or even a definite bounding box, so I’ll rely on your GIS expertise to help identify and refine the area of interest before any data is pulled. Here’s how I picture the collaboration: • We’ll start with a brief call or chat where you advise on sourcing reliable DEM data and suggest an optimal extent based on my eventual use (print at A1 size and web viewing). • Once the area is locked in, you’ll generate clean, well-symbolised elevation contours at logical intervals—please recommend what makes sense given the terrain variability. • The finished deliverable should include the layered GIS project file (compatible with QGIS or ArcGIS), an exported high-resolution PDF for print, and a GeoTIFF/PNG suitable for web embedding.
