We would like to provide you with an overview of the course structure and activities for which we require your support and expertise:
Course Structure:
Context of Sustainable Development Goals – WWF India
Gaming as a Tool for Sustainability Education: Examples (joint effort)
Basics of Game Development – Game Developer and Team
Course Development:
a. Develop course framework (for the basics of the game design section):
Determine the number of modules
Create titles and provide brief descriptions for each module, including the topics of discussion
b. Finalise the course module:
WWF-India will prepare the framework on sustainability aspects
Both parties will collaborate to ensure a cohesive course experience for users
c. Course Scripts - Content for the basics of game development section:
Lesson scripts
Handouts
Quizzes and activities
d. Video participation in the course: WWF India will identify a course moderator. A certified expert will join the moderator via video call to discuss game development aspects
Projected Requirements: 1 Certified Trainer
Time Effort: 4 weeks over three months (June to August)
Training Workshops for Trainers:
1. Conduct 3 Training of Trainers workshops for Master Trainers
2. Onboard Master Trainers:
WWF India will recruit a group of trainers to conduct digital workshops on the topic
An Epic-certified expert will conduct an orientation and training session for the trainers before they engage with schools, teachers, and students
3. The Game Development expert will collaborate with WWF-India to develop the following:
Base Training Script for the trainers
3-4 real-time activities to teach the basics of the subject
2-4 real-time examples
Demo workshops and 2 observation sessions of the Master Trainers
Projected Requirements: 1 Certified Trainer
Time Effort: 2 Weeks
Evaluation of Hackathon Entries:
The certified trainer will evaluate 50 entries of the hackathon, assessing the game design aspect. WWF-India will evaluate the sustainability score for each entry
The top 5 highest-rated game design ideas will progress to the next level, where students will present their ideas to a jury consisting of experts from WWF-India, EPAM, EPIC Games, and Game Developer
The Epic-certified expert and the course moderator will mentor the students as they prepare for the presentation
Projected Requirements: 1 Certified Trainer
Time Effort: 3 Weeks
