I am looking for somebody experienced with 001 Game Creator to create a 2D platform game jump script that meets the following:
1: Jump on a single press and jump higher if jump key is held down so the length of time the jump key is determining the height of the jump. There needs to be a number or variable so I can adjust the maximum amount of the Z axis the jump will go when holding before it starts to fall (so you can't hold it down and keep going up forever) and another to determine the velocity of the jump.
2: Allow a very small amount of time (0.1 seconds) after leaving or no longer colliding with a platform (or any object the character is collided with) to still allow a player to jump but after the 0.1 seconds is reached it will not allow a jump until the player collides with the ground or other objects.
My current thought is to put these mechanics in the Input Trigger for jump but I am open to a better idea if you have a more logical or efficient solution so feel free to suggest because if I like it I may hire you.
You must have experience in 001 Game Creator and know what I am talking about and please indicate your experience with this engine in your application.
You can deliver the work to me by file attachment of the script code, or by detailed instructions on how to make the script in the visual script editor. I am familiar with the game engine application but need to hire you for the logic of making this jump system work the way I want.
