I'm in need of a compelling flyer to distribute during our sales meetings. This flyer will primarily serve to promote our services to potential clients. Key Components: I'm looking to convey the msg on both sides of the 5.5x8.5" flyer. Side 1 is to create the need for our servic - see below: Why is it important to manage weeds and vegetation in an industrial yard? Compliance with Legislation: Controlling noxious weeds (which must be managed) and prohibited noxious weeds (which must be eradicated) is a legislated requirement. Enhanced Safety: Keeping weeds in check improves visibility across the yard, reducing potential safety hazards by allowing clear sightlines. Pest Prevention: Vegetation can attract unwanted pests, which may cause further maintenance issues. Infrastructure Protection: Roots can penetrate and, over time, damage surfaces like pavement and concrete, leading to costly repairs. Moisture Control: Vegetation can hold moisture in the soil, making the yard muddier and harder to navigate. Professional Appearance: Managing unwanted vegetation keeps the yard looking clean and professional, reflecting well on the business. Side 2 describes our approach: At Sure Shot, we provide annual vegetation control that emphasizes herbicide application and mechanical removal to manage unwanted growth effectively. We also offer recommendations for best practices to help extend the effectiveness of our work. For bareground control, we follow a structured three-year cycle: Year 1 - Broadcast Treatment: In May, we apply a broadcast herbicide treatment across the entire yard, targeting all current vegetation and establishing a pre-emergent barrier. This step is crucial for reducing the “soil seed bank,” which is the source of future weed growth, and lays the foundation for lasting control. Year 2 - Targeted Spot Treatment: In early June, we return to spot-treat any breakthrough areas, applying both pre-emergent and active herbicides within a 5-meter radius around these spots. This timing prevents growing weeds from replenishing the soil seed bank, further strengthening the pre-emergent layer in targeted areas. Year 3 - Late Season Spot Treatment: In late June to early July, we conduct another spot treatment to address late-emerging weeds, such as Canada Thistle. This later timing allows us to control slower-growing species, ensuring a clean yard. This approach keeps your gravel yard weed-free in the short term, establishes a path to long-term control, and minimizes herbicide use over time. We select a highly effective herbicide that is safe for our team, for you as the lot owner, and for any animals on-site. This solution uses low concentration levels, has no grazing restrictions, and is resistant to leaching, ensuring safety alongside effective vegetation control. - Contact Information should be phone number (403-356-4171) as well as a QR code to the website. Ideal Skills: - Graphic Design: The flyer needs to be visually appealing and professionally designed. - Marketing: A strong understanding of marketing principles will help in crafting persuasive content. - Communication: Excellent writing skills are necessary for clear and concise information delivery. The flyer should follow the colour scheme as found on our website - [login to view URL] The flyer should be optimized for lead generation.
