Cross-Platform Note-Taking App Development

I want to bring a clean, fast, and future-proof note-taking experience to both iOS and Android users. The core features are straightforward—email/password accounts, rich text editing, PDF & image attachments, and reliable cloud sync—but the implementation must be rock-solid so we can layer on AI capabilities such as speech-to-text, summarisation, and OCR later without a rewrite. Organisation Rather than forcing users into a single structure, I’d like a flexible system that can evolve. I’m open to your recommendations here; the goal is to let users group, filter, or visualise notes in whichever way scales best. Attachments & storage Files linked to a note should live in the user’s own cloud. Out of the box we need seamless integrations with Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. Once connected, users can browse their cloud, attach files, and have them available offline in the app. Architecture • One shared codebase (Flutter, React Native, or similar) targeting iOS 14+ and Android 10+. • Backend that supports email login, note CRUD, and BYO-cloud OAuth flows, written so we can slot in AI micro-services later. • Clean, commented code, modular components, and clear build scripts so future devs can pick it up quickly.
