This project consists in developing 2 simple games. The general topic for both games is whales and they are directed at children. The games will be featured in a multimedia kiosk that is being developed by our company in HTML/PHP/MySQL, but the games will probably work best in Flash.
Game 1 - Whales vs. Fish
This game should be an improved version of the Venn diagram shown here

The graphic design should be much better than the one shown, naturally. The labels need to be multi-language (5 languages) and read from either a MySQL database or a file. The number of labels will be roughly 15 up to 20, but ideally one could add more labels to the database or file and the game would still work. You should specify the format for the database or file and we would insert the labels in all 5 languages.
Game 2 - Identifying whales
The game should be similar to the one shown here:

Click on the Arrow, choose "Science Laboratory" and then "Play a game to practice identifying whales".
We will have pictures of 8 whales, 2 different pictures for each (provided by us). The pictures should be randomly placed on a 4x4 square, as shown. The player will click on 2 pictures. If both pictures are from the same whale, they should be temporarily highlighted in green and faded out (so it is not possible to choose them again). A message should be shown to show the player he is correct, as well as some kind of sound (maybe applause).
If the answer is not correct, the pictures should by temporarily highlighted in red, a message should be shown and a sound should be played to show it was the wrong answer and the player should try again.
If the player takes too long to play, there should be some cue indicating he needs to click on 2 pictures. Optionally, a timer should count how long the player takes to get all the answers right.
All the messages need to be multi-language (5 languages), read from either a database or some kind of file that we can edit ourselves.
We will consider all bids that give us a specific price and how long you need to implement both games. If possible we would like to see some work you have done (portfolio).
We are located in Madeira Island, Portugal, which is GMT timezone. If your timezone is similar, that will be a plus.
