I need some help with finishing 2 flash files. I have created 2 virtual shops in a game - one where users can spend their points they have gathered in the game the other has instant rewards based on completing a game.
I am having trouble with the following:
When a user 'spends' their points, I would like their total to go down accordingly. I am able to do this but the items in the shop should be affected - eg some items can no longer be purchased. I have mcs that light up if available, have a tick if bought, and a cross if unable to buy.
When a user buys the product it should load a library clip to appear on stage (as a movieclip) and the item is 'ticked' in the shop so it cannot be purchased again.
When the user leaves the shop, everything needs to be saved so that next time the user loads the game the library clip is already on stage, the item is ticked in the shop and cannot be purchased again.
User wins a game, I want to unlock a reward (virtual trophy/sticker) in a different frame of the game. If they win the game again, the trophy changes to a different one. (eg bronze to silver)
Stickers / trophies are saved automatically.
Both games need to have some kind of global function so that when the user chooses to start a new game, the rewards are deleted. Both games are offline so need shared objects to function.
Projects are in AS2.
Hope this makes sense. I have some messy examples of both games that I can send to illustrate.
