I need a mechanical FEA analysis of a part made of steel that gets inserted into a gypsum board wall, like a thumbtack would.
I need to know the following:
1. Insertion force required to push part into a wall made from gypsum(drywall) until fully seated.
2. How much load can be hung on the part before the gypsum fails or the part does?
3. Displacement and stress images for both cases.
I will provide a step file of the part as well as the material to be used. You will need to know where to find the FEA properties needed for the gypsum wall.
