Project Overview Vertex Consulting is seeking a skilled and experienced IP Valuer to provide professional valuation services for intellectual property assets, primarily film rights, digital content, and related media assets. The selected freelancer will be responsible for preparing a defensible, professional IP valuation report, financial models, and strategic recommendations for monetization and licensing. Key Responsibilities IP Identification & Assessment Review project documents and contracts. Verify ownership, licensing rights, and territorial rights. Assess legal, commercial, and operational risks. Financial Modelling & Forecasting Build detailed revenue projections (5–10 years) for film rights or IP assets. Estimate profit margins, costs, royalties, and other cash flows. Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning. Valuation Methodology Apply internationally accepted approaches: Income Approach (DCF / Royalty / Excess Earnings) Market Approach (Comparable Transactions / Multiples) Cost Approach (Replacement / Reproduction Cost) Recommend most suitable methods for your IP project. Valuation Reporting Prepare a professional valuation report including: Executive Summary IP Asset Description Market & Industry Analysis Methodology & Assumptions Valuation Results (Low, Base, High) Risks & Limitations Strategic Recommendations Consultation & Support Explain valuation methodology and results to stakeholders. Provide advice for monetization, licensing, or investment decisions.
