Summary B4Q Assurance CPA PC is a U.S.-based CPA firm providing professional accounting, assurance, tax, and advisory services to businesses across the United States. Our services include SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 attestation support, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, auditing, business valuation, and financial consulting. As our client portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Licensed CPA to join us on a freelance/contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible working hours. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for businesses and individuals Provide tax planning and compliance support Manage bookkeeping and review financial statements Support clients with payroll and accounting-related matters Assist with SOC readiness and compliance-related financial documentation Deliver financial advisory and consulting services when required Communicate professionally with clients and maintain high-quality service standards Required Qualifications Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (Washington Residence) AICPA membership or equivalent professional affiliation preferred 3+ years of experience in public accounting or a CPA firm Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and federal/state tax regulations Experience working with startups, SMBs, and growing businesses Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software Excellent communication and client management skills Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently Preferred Experience Experience supporting SOC 1, SOC 2, or SOC 3 engagements Knowledge of payroll processing and financial reporting Experience with audit support or assurance engagements Familiarity with cloud accounting tools and modern accounting workflows Job Details Job Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor Location: Remote (Montana, United States preferred) Company: B4Q Assurance CPA PC Workload: Flexible, project-based with ongoing opportunities Experience Level: Intermediate to Expert To Apply Please include the following with your proposal: Brief introduction CPA license details (State) Years of experience Industries you've worked with Accounting software you're proficient in Your hourly rate or project pricing Availability per week We are looking to build long-term relationships with reliable CPAs who value quality work and professional client service.
