I have an Excel workbook that I would like to have password protection added. I would like to be able to have multiple users and passwords which would expire after specified dates. For example, I want UserA to be able to sign in for one month to use the worksheet (on a trial basis). After one month, they would be able to open the workbook with their password; however, they would no longer be able to edit it.
Here are the full-requirements:
(1) The entire workbook must have a requirement for macros to be enabled before launching the password requirements. If macros are disabled, they would see a warning sheet saying that they need to enable macros. (I don't want users to be able to see any of the data worksheets unless they enter a password. I want users to be feel assured that their data won't be read without first entering a password.)
(2) I want a worksheet where I can add an unlimited number of UserNames, Passwords, and expiration dates. I would then hide the worksheet.
(3) If the UserName and Password are correct, but the expiration date has passed, the worksheets would be shown; however, they would not be able to be edited (no changing the cell values, however, they would be able to see the data, copy it, and print any graphs).
