We are a mortgage brokerage that currently has an Excel-based fact Find - where we gather all the information about a person's situation in order to ascertain whether they can afford a mortgage. It's a series of sheets in a Workbook, linked by various formulas. It's essentially been tweaked by the team over the past decade and is now due an overhaul, as we are certain it can be made to be a lot whizzier by someone that knows more about excel than the odd formula!. Likewise we have a Mortgage illustration form that produces the quotes for the clients - again a series of Sheets, that use various look ups and formulas (there are ALOT of nested IFs!). This also needs an overhaul! I've attached versions of them below. At the moment we are just wanting to understand the cost of getting these re-vamped as we have never outsourced it before, so the budget guide below is just a total guess. Due to current priorities, it's unlikely the project will be started until March.
