We are an electric gate installation company. We require an estimating excel spreadsheet to help reduce our current labour intensive estimating process.
We require a spreadsheet which allow us to select the following:
- Manufacturer of Automation
- Automation Model / Kit
- Timber Gate Price
- Size of gate
- Wood type
- Steel Gate Price
- Size of Gate
- Intercom System
- Exit System
- Exit Loop Required?
- Exit Keypad Required?
- Labour - Estimated hours on site
- Groundworks Cost
- Bricklaying Costs
Basically this system requires other backend pages allow us to enter costs from our supplies as and when they change. So end user can simply select the different automation, model etc. If the job requires a timber gate, they choose the size, and wood type and price is pulled from information we enter in back end. We would also require the document to allow us to put different levels of margins say 20% 30% 40% depending how competitive we require to be.
It would be great if this information could then be merged to a standardised 'Word' quote document. Which pulls the information selected in the excel document, and the separate prices down to the total price.
