I've viewed the file you have attached above, and I can achieve what you need out of it, however it has some remarks to be handled first before we dive in. 1st of all the first column "Column1.factions.name_group" every single item has to be unique in order for excel to lookup the various entries in the other rows as weapons, type, name etc. if it's kept this way excel as a program will always return the first value. Moreover some of your inserted formulas refer to other workbook. I'll be more than happy to work on this project, you already triggered the gaming guy inside and will add an automated button for the fight to compute the results. Hi! I think Excel wouldn't be the best solution since the file is already quite big and the VBA macro would take forever to run. I suggest two options: 1. A Python script that can take all the data from the JSON file: you will be able to execute this locally in your computer, or else I could upload it to an online database and run it from a Streamlit app. 2. A Google sheet where you would run your simulations + Big Query to store all the values. This way we optimise the Sheet to run smoothly. I would be happy to help you with this project as I am familiar with RPG games and this sounds quite exciting! Last thing I would need a bit more information about is the time factor, as it could be more / less difficult depending on the attack speed of each role.
