Mechanical Cost Estimate

I need a detailed mechanical estimate I can attach directly to my upcoming contract bid. The scope will embrace all building‐services systems on the drawings—HVAC, plumbing and fire protection—unless a discipline is clearly excluded once you review the documents. My goal is a tight, defensible number that strengthens the bid without eroding profit, so accuracy and clear backup are critical. You will work from the PDF plans and specs I provide (issued immediately after award and NDA). Use your preferred take-off tool—Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Trimble or similar—to build quantified line items, then price them with current material and labour rates for our region. The final package must include: • An editable Excel sheet showing quantities, unit costs, labour hours and mark-ups • Marked-up plans that trace every take-off quantity for quick verification • A summary page I can drop straight into the bid folder, highlighting total cost, overhead and profit I will sign off when quantities are traceable, assumptions are stated and the rolled-up figure matches your detailed sheet.
