Excel Quotation & Invoice System

I handle my work on a project-by-project basis and want a single, well-structured Excel solution that lets me do three things smoothly: create professional quotations, turn those quotations into invoices, and track every expense against each project. Here is what I need the workbook (or small set of linked sheets) to cover: • Quotation template – set up with intermediate-level features such as conditional formatting, data validation lists, and the right blend of functions (IF, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.) so totals, taxes, discounts, and subtotals calculate automatically. • Invoice generator – built from the approved quotation data so figures stay consistent and I’m never re-typing information. The layout must be print-ready and easy to PDF. • Project expense tracker – a clear dashboard that compares quoted vs. actual costs and uses conditional formatting to flag overruns or approaching limits. I prefer clean formulas and good sheet design rather than heavy macros; I should be able to adjust rates or add new projects myself afterward. I’ll supply sample figures, rates, and branding assets so the templates match my look and feel. The work is complete when: – All calculations reconcile with my test data, – Conditional formats highlight key thresholds correctly, – The sheets are organised, protected where necessary, and ready to share or print. Once everything is in place, a brief walkthrough (recorded video or live call) or neat inline comments will be enough for me to maintain the file confidently.
