We want to add color samples to our products, so customers can see a little square of color when they order a wig.
To do this we need to name the color sample pictures correctly, and upload them.
I attached the excel spreadsheet with colors, and for the bidder will send a rar file with two folders with color samples for two of our brands. I’ll also provide links to our color chart pages in case you need to verify what color goes to what file. In the excel spreadsheet, we have all colors for productcodes beginning with H1_ (Harlem 125 brand), and for Productcodes beginning with CR_ (Carefree brand).
To create color swatches we have to create 3 pictures for each color for each product.
The columns you well need to use are A (ID), C(optiondesc), and H(applytoproductcodes)
The color names are in the C(optiondesc), column in spreadsheet. The productcodes are in the H(applytoproductcodes). The color samples are in the two folders in the Rar file. The cr_files folder has color samples for Carefree products beginning with “CR_”, the h1_files are samples for the Harlem products, productcodes starting with “H1_”.
1. You can check these color chart pages (links will be provided) for any missing colors, it is ok to use them for both H1 and CR productcodes.
You can just right click to save the pictures, just make them the same size as the colors you already have for each brand. You do not need to add text to the H1 colors, just make them the same size.
2. The FS colors are the same as the F colors. FS1B_30 is the same color as F1B_30 so you can use the color pictures you have to make swatches for those. If you find any extra ones on the chart links above that is ok too.
3. You can make new swatches for some of the colors, they ones with numbers separated by _
For colors starting with F or M or H, like FS4_27 or HL4_27 or M2_30, those are blends of 2 colors, FS4_27 is 4 and 27, HL4_27 is also blend of 4 and 27, M2_30 is blend of 2 and 30. Please make swatches with one half each color like my attached samples, [url removed, login to view], for the larger swatches and [url removed, login to view] for the small swatches ending in -S. Also add text like in my sample, I just made up color F2/22, but see how I made half color 2 and half color 22, with “blend of” on top, and =F2/22 on bottom. I used Arial Rounded MT Bold font, but Arial bold is ok too. If the colors are light you can use black text instead so you can read it. In little swatch not enough room for color #’s, so just put “blend of both” like in my sample.
For colors starting with T18_22 or T2_30 or P like P4_27 just make half each color but no text. T18_22 should be half 18 and half 22, but no text.
Also don’t create photos for any row that has “11” in the B(optioncatid) column. Those don’t need swatches.
While you’re add it please add descriptions to the colors for “H1_” productcodes. Our color chart for H1_ has names for each color, So color every color 1 in the C(optiondesc) column can be replaced with “1- Black” which is on that color chart page. “2’ can be replaced with “2 – Very Dark Brown”, ect.
You can also check that page to double check what the color file is named. They should match colors in optiondesc column, but have “/” replaced with “_’, but there might be a few inconsistences.
The CR_ color chart has the colors all joined in 4 big phot
