I'm in need of assistance in Excel to create graphs based on a metrics data dump. This is a two part project with the first part consisting of recreation/adjustment of the current worksheets and then a macro based formatting system to accommodate the metrics that get populated.
Sample [url removed, login to view] contains 11 worksheets that need data aggregated based on the Metrics [url removed, login to view] file.
I will run this report every Thursday for multiple departments which will have different information but will have the same layout to run against.
The graphs should all look the same and span through the entire date range. The best example is the Tickets Opened Per Week worksheet but it needs some minor work to expand the graph all the way to 2/5/15. I would like Open Support Ticket Avg Aging, Open Project Avg Aging, Average Turnaround Time, Week By Week Turn Time, Closed Tickets By Tech, & Turnaround Time By Tech to look the same. You could probably make one and copy it over to the other worksheets.
Avg Turn Time By Application, Tickets Opened By Application, Tickets Closed By Application should look similar.
SLA Breach By Tech looks fine and you can keep that graph format.
When the macro is finished running, please have it go to the first tab in the spreadsheet.
The first thing you’ll want to do is calculate the age of the ticket and put it in a column to the right. This will help for auditing and calculating other sections. The time should be based on the actual time the ticket has aged in minutes based on 1440 minutes in a day. If a ticket is opened and closed in an hour, it should reflect an hour but when calculated against the other figures in the week, it should reflect the time in days. *If you have questions or have a different way you would like to perform this action, please let me know before programming.
