I need two print formats inside ERPNext—one for Purchase Orders and one for Sales Invoices—fully customised to match a design I already have. Every section matters: the header, each line-item table, and the footer all require layout changes, adjusted field positions, and a few extra calculated columns that aren’t in the default print formats. You will work directly in the Print Format builder or, if you prefer, through custom Jinja/HTML so long as the final result plugs straight into ERPNext without breaking on future version updates. CSS must be inline or embedded per ERPNext’s best practice, and the output must render correctly in PDF and on-screen. Deliverables • Purchase Order print format (.json or .html) reflecting my mock-up • Sales Invoice print format (.json or .html) reflecting the same visual style • Brief installation notes so I can import them in another site Acceptance criteria The PDFs generated from both formats must match my supplied design pixel-close, show all mandatory system fields, and calculate totals exactly as ERPNext expects. I will provide the design files and access to a staging site so you can test. If you have solid ERPNext print format experience and can turn this around quickly, let’s get started.

I can help with this. I will build the two ERPNext print formats, a Purchase Order and a Sales Invoice, as custom formats that match your mockup exactly: reworked header, line-item table and footer, repositioned fields, the extra calculated columns you need beyond the defaults, and clean inline CSS in line with ERPNext and Frappe best practices. You will get them as installable print format files (.json or .html) with clear setup documentation, matching in both the PDF and the on-screen render. Since ERPNext renders print formats through Jinja, I build the calculated columns and totals in the template logic rather than hard-coding them, so they stay correct when the document data changes and survive future updates. On a similar ERPNext print-format job this kept the PDF and the on-screen view identical and stopped the totals from drifting. A couple of quick questions: 1. Can you share the design mockup, and do you prefer the deliverables as exported .json fixtures or standalone HTML print formats? 2. Which ERPNext or Frappe version is your instance on (v14 or v15)? It affects the print engine and how the CSS is handled.

Interesting project, Hi, I will deliver both the Purchase Order and Sales Invoice print formats as custom Jinja/HTML with embedded CSS, matching your mock-up pixel-close in PDF and on-screen. Installation notes included so you can import on any other ERPNext site. On a similar build, I structured the templates to avoid version breakage by referencing only stable API fields. I will do the same here. Questions: 1) Are the extra calculated columns purely display, or do they need to write back to custom fields? 2) Which ERPNext version is the staging site running? Share the design files and staging access and I will have the first draft of the PO format ready for review within 48 hours. Looking forward to talking through the details. Kamran

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I understand you need customized print formats for Purchase Orders and Sales Invoices in ERPNext. The goal is to ensure these templates not only look good but also function seamlessly within your existing system. The real challenge often lies in maintaining compatibility with ERPNext's structure while ensuring the templates are adaptable for future changes. A common issue in projects like this is ensuring that design elements don’t interfere with data integrity or usability. It looks straightforward initially, but achieving the right blend of aesthetics and functionality requires careful planning. My approach would be to analyze how ERPNext handles templates and data inputs. I’d focus on CSS and HTML standards to ensure that the designs are visually appealing and maintainable, helping to avoid potential issues as your business grows. I’ve worked on similar integrations within ERP systems, creating print formats that are user-friendly and compliant with backend processes. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – Are there specific branding guidelines or styles you want to follow? Q2 – What data fields need to be included in each template? Q3 – Do you foresee any challenges with integration into your current ERPNext setup? Happy to go through the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, We will build both print formats (Purchase Order and Sales Invoice) using custom Jinja/HTML with embedded CSS, matched pixel-close to your design. For the extra calculated columns, we will handle them inside the template logic so they stay compatible across ERPNext updates without custom app dependencies. A couple of quick things to confirm: 1) Which ERPNext version is your staging site running? 2) Are the extra columns purely derived from existing doctype fields, or do they need custom fields added? The number quoted here is a starting estimate. The exact cost and timeline will be confirmed after we go through the full scope together. Ready to start whenever you are. Faizan
