We have produced sports media niche products, for the last 25 years in Adelaide, but only work within
the sports field. We have this as our niche market in Adelaide, and have found that sports is and industry
that is well read and easy to sell advertising for.
Over the years, I have owned the Camry Crows Almanac, Sports Cards Australia (through 5 states of Australia),
the Footy Budget, SA Waters, and a myriad of others sporting magazines and publications.
Over the last 7 years, we have gone on-line, with our publishing, and were the first in Adelaide to do so.
I look at the UK, Europe and USA for trends, that will last the next 5-7 years.
I would be delighted if you looked at the Footy Budget, herewith and to see if you would like to assist
with the sales of the publication. This publication will be changed somewhat in 2015, and will be re-titled, as
The South Australian Footballer. The old publication of the Footy Budget, was directed purely at the amateur
footballer in South Australia, and as you can see, attracted an enormous amount of advertising.
We have the new mock-up prepared already for 2015, which will include AFL football, with the two
South Australian based teams in the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide, plus the South Australian National
Football League, which is the league beneath the AFL. We will also be including all the junior codes in
South Australia, plus country leagues. Essentially, it will have every form of Australian football in the
publications, including women's football and the AFL masters (over 35's.
The new publication, will be 96 pages.
Coupled with this publication, we will be introducing a new publication, called the South Australian Sports
Star Magazine, which will include all the major sports in South Australia. Some of these sports include:
Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Horse Racing, Ice Hockey, Polo crosse and every sport imaginable.
Both the football publication and the sports publication are supported by 8 hours of radio. I also own
2 football shows of 2 hour duration and 2 sports shows in drive time of 2 hour duration on our local air-waves.
