Hi, I can take your existing MATLAB codebase and implement the SIMP density-based island optimization inside the channel without breaking your current geometry, flow solver, or particle tracking pipeline. My approach: Review your current mesh, boundary conditions, and particle separation logic. Add a SIMP optimization loop (design variable field, density filter, penalization continuation, volume constraint). Couple objective to particle separation quality and pressure/flow constraints so islands are physically valid and manufacturable. Enforce minimum feature size and remove gray regions using projection/filtering for clean island geometry. Re-run flow + tracking and compare baseline vs optimized design (separation efficiency, pressure drop, convergence stability).
