wireless charging - repost

Develop a simple wireless charger that can transfer 1 watt of power to the receiving end over a 5cm distance, regardless of the efficency.

1) build a oscillator to generate the alternating current to be supplied to the transmitting coil.

a) Here I design the oscillator at frequency 1 MHz to minimize the loss(i.e To increase the frequency)

b)The circuit is very easy but very effective and also low cost.

c)The seep up transformer should be voltage rating as per requirement .for domestic use it should be low voltage.

2) build the receiver to rectify the ac current into dc.

a)Receiver part also very easy to make and also effective

b)Here i use a Bridge rectifier

c)I use a pi network for smoothing purpose
